Mangaka Masashi Kishimoto, famous as the creator of Naruto, has recommended Takeru Hokazono's Kagurabachi manga with a heartfelt message for volume 3. Earlier, My Hero Academia's author, Kohei Horikoshi, recommended the manga's first volume with a special message.

Undoubtedly, it's a big achievement for Takeru Hokazono, who followed Naruto as the blueprint for his earlier works. Notably, the third volume will be released in Japan and worldwide on July 4, 2024. The upcoming volume, titled Dark Night, focuses on the Rakuzaichi arc, which is the second major arc after the Cloud Gouger Arc.

Masashi Kishimoto highlights the "power and emotion" of Kagurabachi in his recommendation for volume 3

On Wednesday, July 3, 2024, the official X account for Takeru Hokazono's manga shared a tweet to confirm that Kagurabachi has received a recommendation comment from Masashi Kishimoto ahead of volume 3's release on July 4, 2024.

Masashi Kishimoto's message in Japanese, when translated into English, reads the following:

"There is power and emotion in the pictures that turn over and captivate you. This talent, this style, is what manga fans love."

As evident from the message, the author highlights the emotion-charged scenes in the manga that compel manga lovers to turn the pages of Takeru Hokazono's work. It's a massive occasion for Hokazono, who, in recent interviews, mentioned that Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto has been his biggest manga inspiration.

Moreover, Kishimoto's recommendation for Kagurabachi could significantly boost the manga's sales and popularity. Notably, the Naruto creator had recommended My Hero Academia in the past, which ultimately became one of the best New-Gen manga series.

Considering Shueisha wants Kagurabachi to lead the next generation of Shonen Jump, Kishimoto's special message could do wonders for the manga.

However, that's not all. Besides the Naruto creator, Kohei Horikoshi, the creator of My Hero Academia, had also recommended Takeru Hokazono's manga for the first volume. The author was amazed at the manga's movie-like composition.

Horikoshi further commended Hokazono for understanding what it means to be "cool." In fact, in his interviews, Takeu Hokazono repeatedly mentioned that he focuses on the "cool" aspect while illustrating the manga.

Besides Masashi Kishimoto and Horikoshi, the manga has also received a recommendation from Vaundy (for volume 2), one of the most popular singers in Japan. The singer praised how the characters in the manga bring out the qualities of swordsmanship.

Yet there's no doubt that Masashi Kishimoto's recommendation for Kagurabachi is the biggest achievement for Hokazono, especially with the Naruto creator being his inspiration. The author's special message could lead the battle shonen manga to the next heights.
