The official website and X handle for the Medaka Kuroiwa Is Impervious to My Charms anime shared a new teaser promotional video on Thursday, July 11, 2024. It announced that the rom-com anime would be released in 2025. However, the short clip didn't reveal a narrower release date.

The teaser PV shows the lead heroine, Mona Kawai, trying her best to catch the eye of Medaka Kuroiwa, who is impervious to her charms. Interestingly, Mona begins to fall for Medaka, while trying to win his heart. The short clip showcases the animation quality and previews the character voices of Mona and Medaka.

Yu Serizawa stars in the Medaka Kuroiwa Is Impervious to My Charms anime as Mona Kawai, while Ryota Iwasaki voices Medaka Kuroiwa. Comments from the voice actors have arrived on the anime's official site, where they revealed that they would try their best to portray the characters.

Besides the teaser PV, the official staff has streamed a character video for Mona Kawai. The short clip shows Mona in her high school uniform, expressing her feelings about Medaka. Undoubtedly, both the PVs have increased the hype for the anime's release.

Yoshiaki Okumura directs the series at SynergySP Studios, with Kazuyuki Fudeyasu supervising and writing the scripts. Akiyuki Tateyama is enlisted as the music composer, while Mayumi Watanabe has joined the staff as the character designer.

Other staff members include Noriyoshi Konuma as the sound director, Tetsuya Nishimura from Studio Elle as the composing director of photography, Aiko Yamagami as the color designer, and Masakazu Miyake as the art director.

Based on Ren Kuze's rom-com manga, Medaka Koroiwa Is Impervious to My Charms anime centers around Mona Kawai, the cutest girl in her school. Interestingly, she is aware of her charms.

However, Mona cannot fathom why she cannot move the stone-cold heart of her classmate, Medaka Kuroiwa. Yet, the girl doesn't give up easily. Likewise, Medaka refuses to get close to a woman. As such, the anime showcases a battle of will between Mona and Medaka.
