My Dress-Up Darling live-action reveals opening  and ending themes with new trailers

On Wednesday, September 25, MBS released two trailers for My Dress-Up Darling live-action series. The two trailers previewed the opening and ending theme songs for the show. The two songs are performed by Chō Tokimeki Sendenbu and the Japanese rock band PEDRO, respectively.

Previously, when the anime announced the live-action series, MBS announced its October 2024 release date and the cast members for Kitagawa Marin and Wakana Gojo. Soon after, the series unveiled its poster and the cast members for supporting characters.

On Wednesday, September 25, 2024, MBS unveiled two trailers for the My Dress-Up Darling live-action series. While both trailers are the same, they preview different theme songs from the show.

The above trailer features the opening theme song for the live-action series. The opening theme song is titled "Princess Hero." It is performed by Chō Tokimeki Sendenbu.

The second version of the trailer previews the ending theme song from the show. The theme song is called "Lovely Baby" and is performed by the Japanese rock band PEDRO.

As for the promotional video itself, it introduces fans to the live-action versions of Marin Kitagawa and Wakana Gojo. Marin was introduced as a model who wished to do cosplay, and Gojo was introduced as a high schooler who loved making Hina dolls.

As one can notice, they have no similarities between them, but fate sees Marin employ Gojo's help to create costumes for her cosplays. With such a development, the two start to get close to each other.


My Dress-Up Darling live-action unveils poster and additional cast members

While it has been a week since this reveal, MBS has also unveiled a poster visual and additional cast members for the live-action series. The poster visual depicts Marin Kitagawa lying on her stomach with her feet in the air in what looks like a box for a doll. As for Wakana Gojo, he can be seen seated with his back seemingly supported by the box.

As for the additional cast members for the live-action series, they are as follows:

  • Akana Ikeda as Sajuna Inui
  • Kokoro Toyoshima as Shinju Inui
  • Daichi Shiozaki as Chitose Amano
  • Meikyo Yamada as Kaoru Gojo

With around two weeks left for the live-action series' premiere, fans can expect MBS to unveil more news shortly. The show is set to premiere on Wednesday, October 9, 2024.
