On Thursday, December 19, 2024, many reports started claiming that My Hero Academia's final season is scheduled to start airing in Fall 2025.

While none of the reports have stated their source, given the reputation of the social media accounts, it is to be presumed that the information is a leak from Shueisha, likely from its upcoming Weekly Shonen Jump magazine set to publish on Monday, December 23, 2024.

No further information has been reported by the suspected leaks; hence, fans will need to wait until the anime makes an official announcement during its Red Stage at Jump Festa 2025.

Fans could possibly get some confirmation on whether the anime would only adapt the Final War Arc or go further and adapt the Epilogue arc as well. More importantly, will the anime adapt the extra chapter released in the final manga volume?

Most fans were elated after hearing about the alleged confirmation announcement as this meant that the animation staff wasn't being rushed.

As evident from the remaining manga source, Studio Bones has about 33 chapters left to adapt as part of the anime. Generally, a similar number of chapters are adapted into 11-13 episodes, which take about a year to produce. Hence, the animation studio has ample time to produce the final season.

"FINALLY TOHO THANK YOU FOR GIVING THEM TIME," one fan said.
"we getting some peak animation," another added.
"An amazing end to a great series, SPECIALLY now with MHA431," another fan said.
"Where did you get that from?" a fan asked.

Meanwhile, other fans started deducing what they could see in My Hero Academia's final season. Some believed that the manga's extra chapter would be added to the anime, while others doubted it. Amidst all this, several fans asked the social media accounts to share their source for credibility.
