My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 7 aired on June 15, 2024, and started off the final arc of the story. This arc recently ended in the manga, which has now entered its epilogue.

Although the final arc tied up most of the villain plot points, the entire setting of the fight, which was divided into multiple battlefronts, made it really difficult to follow and visualize. However, the My Hero Academia Battle Status map, which recently became available, has managed to make it easier for fans to follow the plot.

My Hero Academia season 7 interactive maps make the arc less convoluted

My Hero Academia Season 7 has become one of the better-adapted seasons of the show, especially after fans expressed their dissatisfaction with the numerous drops in quality in previous seasons. Although Season 7 started with Star and Stripe's attack on Shigaraki, the main arc being adapted is the Final War arc.

The final war itself takes place on multiple fronts spread throughout Japan, making it very convoluted and often difficult to follow, especially since the chapters shift the point of view various times throughout the arc. However, a new interactive Battle Status map has been launched, which will keep track of the ongoing developments in the War arc.

One fan took this opportunity to mention how the interactive map was indeed a great decision since it would make the final arc of the manga much more memorable and immersive. The fan also mentioned that this interactive map further proves that the producers care about the story and its worldbuilding.

"Literally!! It shows that they care for this universe and they are willing to explore it/worldbuild," one fan said.

Another fan took this opportunity to mention how Bones has plans to track every major fight with the map and provide each one with its own key visual, further enhancing Season 7's adaptation and making it the best one yet.

"BONES doing a special map to follow this arc plus every major fight going to get its own key visual. My Hero Academia season 7 is being pretty well done so far," another fan wrote.

One fan took this chance to question how the interactive map would depict Izuku traveling numerous miles throughout the battlefield. The fan also mentioned that the map will probably feature a slow-moving marker only for Deku.

"I'm so excited to see how they tackle Deku travelling miles to his actual spot. I'm wondering if after this episode, there will be a new marker very slowly moving to it's destination. Once the episode of Deku arriving drops, then the Deku marker disappears," one fan said.

The fans' reaction to the new interactive map has been mostly positive, with most praising how this map makes the story much easier to follow and more immersive.
