Episode 8 was titled Two Flashfires. The episode revisited Dabi's origins after the forest fire. After getting burnt, Dabi was rescued by All for One and fell into a coma for 3 years. He woke up confused, asking others to let him go back to his home.

All for One provoked him and brought back some harsh memories, forcing Dabi to stay with them. This gave birth to revenge inside Dabi, who wanted to see his father suffer because the Pro Hero had never acknowledged his son. Returning to the battlefield, Dabi commenced the fight against Shoto with a Flashfire Fist.

Shoto was hit with the technique, but he managed to gather energy to hit his brother with another Flashfire fist that combined his Freeze and Fire quirk. Dabi managed to counter it, too.

During the last phase of their fight, Dabi made his flames even hotter than before, but Endeavor's side-kicks gave Shoto cover. This allowed him to jump forward at the villain and punch him, begging Dabi to stop.
