My Hero Academia You're Next has released its final trailer this Wednesday, September 18, focusing mainly on the action sequences against the villains. The film is due to come out in North America on October 11, 2024. This non-canon film features Izuku "Deku" Midoriya and his UA classmates going up against an individual who has a very similar look to All Might, aptly named Dark Might, and uses his power to take over entire territories.
My Hero Academia You're Next was released in Japan on August 2 of this year and featured the same creative team who made the first three movies of the franchise. The only exception being director Tensai Okamura replacing Kenji Nagasaki.
For those who might want to place this movie in the anime's timeline, it takes place between the events of the sixth and seventh seasons of the adaptation by Studio Bones, which is the same company making this film.

My Hero Academia You're Next's final trailer features several fighting scenes
There was a new trailer for the My Hero Academia You're Next film now that it has been confirmed that the movie is set to release in North America on October 11 of this year.
The trailer started with a captivating scene of Deku jumping off a moving vehicle, then presenting the audience with the base Dark Might has created, the protagonist's doubt about this being All Might, and several fighting scenes, including the main villain going up against the protagonist, Shoto Todoroki, and Katsuki Bakugo.
As mentioned earlier, this is the same creative team that made the three previous movies of the franchise, with the only change being director Tensai Okamura replacing Kenji Nagasaki. The film came out in Japan on August 2 of this year, earning $6.28 million in its first three days and reaching the first position at the Japanese box office.
The premise of the movie
As mentioned earlier, the events of this film can take place between the sixth and seventh seasons of the anime, with My Hero Academia You're Next citing the Paranormal Liberation War arc. In that regard, Deku and his friends at UA are dealing with the threat of the Jailbreakers, as they are causing chaos across Japan.
The main conflict of My Hero Academia You're Next is centered around a mysterious man who seems to be inspired by All Might to the point of obsession and bears a very similar look to him. As shown in the film, he takes over a large portion of territory, starting a war with Deku and his friends.
