How fans reacted to the news
My Hero Academia fans were confused about the leaked news as one fan thought that the series's final chapter would receive the cover. However, others were quick to inform them that never happened in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine.
"I thought the last chapter would get the cover," one fan said.
"oct 11 for us english people. wish more anime movies did global releases man," another said.
Another fan expressed their concerns about the movie. While My Hero Academia: You're Next movie is set to be released on August 2 in Japan, it will only be released internationally two months later on October 11.
According to them, a two-month wait was just too long. Hence, they wished for more anime films to opt for global releases.
"Confirm what happens to your characters and I just might," other fan said.
"acting like he ain’t do nuthin,"another fan said.
"Of course not, I don't forgive you, Horikoshi. Let Toga be happy again," another added.
Meanwhile, most other fans reacted to Kohei Horikoshi's comment. The alleged My Hero Academia chapter 428 spoilers hinted at Himiko Toga's death. Fans disliked this development. Hence, they were angry at the manga creator and expressed that they would not be watching the film.
