On Thursday, July 4, 2024, Netflix announced that the Beastars final season will release its first part in December 2024. This announcement was unveiled with a new key visual featuring the series protagonist Legoshi and two new characters who are set to be crucial to the plot in the final season.

Following the release of the Beastars season 1 anime in March 2020 and season 2 in July 2021, the anime is set to release its third and final season in Fall 2024. The announcement for the same was made with a teaser visual back in March 2024.

On Thursday, July 4, 2024, the official website of Beastars anime and X account of Netflix Anime unveiled new details about the Beastars final season. As fans know, Beastars final season is set to be aired in a split cour.

With that in mind, Beastars final season is set to release its first part in December 2024. The release window for the second part is yet to be announced. That said, fans should not expect details about the same anytime soon.

This announcement was made with the anime's key visual, which featured the protagonist, Legoshi, and two new characters.

According to the description provided by the anime's official website, Legoshi is seemingly stood at the intersection of the front society and the black market. This is evident from how the landscape on Legoshi's left side is filled with buildings while the one on the right is filled with stalls, seemingly selling meat.

With that, the anime asked fans to pay attention to the visuals, especially the two new characters who can be seen looking at Legoshi with serious eyes.

The two characters are Yahya the horse and Gosha the Komodo dragon. According to the Paru Itagaki manga, Yahya is a retired Sublime Beastar, who will be the antagonist in the upcoming anime season. Meanwhile, Gosha is Legoshi's grandfather and Leano's father. Both characters are set to play crucial roles in the anime's upcoming final season.

Beastars final season will be adapting the Interspecies Relations Arc and Revenge of the Love Failure Arc. While the anime's first part will start with the Interspecies Relations Arc, given the lack of source material, it is bound to include a good portion of the Revenge of the Love Failure Arc as well.
