A former member of the legendary Roger Pirates, Crocus is the lighthouse keeper at Twin Cape, a location that lies at the bottom of Reverse Mountain. He is also the affectionate caretaker of Laboon, a whale that once befriended the Rumbar Pirates.

Aiming to enter the Grand Line from the access situated in Reverse Mountain, the Straw Hats arrived on Twin Cape. As Crocus explained to them Laboon’s sad backstory, Luffy promised the whale that he would come and visit her again after completing his journey.

Upon witnessing Luffy’s behavior, Crocus noted the similarities between his former captain, Gol D. Roger, and the young pirate. He then helped the Straw Hats by giving them a Log Pose, which allowed them to navigate the Grand Line.

Two Giants native to Elbaf, Dorry “The Blue Ogre” and Brogy “The Red Ogre,” are the captains of the Giant Warrior Pirates. About a hundred years before the present narration, they had a trivial argument. To prove their honor and rightness, the two Giants decided to settle the argument with a duel on the island of Little Garden.

Dorry and Brogy’s fight continued for an entire century, and neither managed to prevail over the other. The ceaseless struggle was interrupted by the plots of the Baroque Works. The organization’s Mr. 3 tried to set Dorry and Brogy one against the other, but the Straw Hat Pirates thwarted his attempt.

During the Straw Hat crew’s stay in Little Garden, Usopp was especially impressed with Dorry and Brogy. He admired their strength, bravery, and sense of honor. In fact, despite their tremendous conflict, the two Giants never ceased to respect each other.

At the end of the arc, Dorry and Brogy showcased their formidable might by blasting through the Island Eater, a giant goldfish. As the monster was about to devour the Straw Hat crew’s ship, the Going Merry, Dorry, and Brogy killed it with a combined attack, allowing their newfound friends to continue their journey.
