On Wednesday, July 31, 2024, the official website and X account for the Nina the Starry Bride anime shared the first promotional video and visual to announce that the series will premiere on October 10, 2024.

The short clip also previews the opening and ending theme songs. Along with this announcement, the names of the additional cast and staff members have been revealed.

Produced by Signal.MD, Nina the Starry Bride anime serves as an adaptation of the eponymous manga series, written and illustrated by Rikachi. Kodansha's Be Love monthly magazine has been serializing the manga since October 2019, with 13 volumes published thus far.

As mentioned earlier, the official staff shared the first promotional clip and visual on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, to announce that Nina the Starry Bride anime will be released on October 10, 2024, i.e., in Fall 2024.

Broadcast information has also arrived, according to which, Nina the Starry Bride anime will air its episodes every Thursday at 10 pm JST starting October 10, 2024, on Tokyo MX. Besides Tokyo MX, the anime will air on BS Asahi every Friday from 11 pm JST, starting October 11, 2024.

The trailer highlights Nina, who gets ordained by her captor, Prince Azure, that she will live the rest of her life as a princess. Besides Nina and Prince Azure Seth's chemistry, the PV highlights Sett, Daitus, and Muhulum.

Interestingly, the promotional video previews the opening theme song, Nina, performed by Maaya Sakamoto, and the ending theme song, Hoshi no Dengon (Messages From the Stars) by Nao Toyama.

Comments from the respective theme song artists have arrived on the anime's official site, where they revealed their thoughts regarding the songs. Maaya Sakamoto feels the lyrics give one the strength to push forward. Likewise, Nao Toyama reveals that she has put her heart and soul into singing the ending theme.

Aside from the promotional video, the official staff has unveiled a key visual for the Nina the Starry Bride anime. The illustration depicts Nina, Prince Azure Seth, and Sett, at the mercy of fate. Additionally, the visual features Daitus, Muhulum, Yoru, and Bidou.


Cast, staff, and the plot of Nina the Starry Bride anime

The official team of the anime has announced additional cast members for the Nina the Starry Bride anime. Nao Toyama, the renowned voice actor stars as Muhulum, while Tatsuya Tomizawa plays the role of Daitus.

The previously announced cast members are, Minami Tanaka as Nina, Yuichiro Umehara as Prince Azure Seth, and Koki Uchiyama as Sett.

Kenichiro Komaya directs the fantasy romance series at Signal.MD Studios, with Yuka Yamada in charge of the series' screenplay and composition. Natsumi Tabuchi composes the music, while Kyoko Taketani is enlisted as the character designer.

The newly announced staff members include Masakazu Miyake as the art director, Toshiki Kameyama as the sound director, Junichi Masanuga as the editor, Mayuko Koike as the compositing director of photography, Fumiko Mitani as the CG director, Natsuyo Ban as the color key artist, Hiroshi Shiraishi in the art setting, and others.

Based on Rikaichi's manga, Nina the Starry Bride anime follows the story of Nina, an orphan with azure eyes. One day, she gets abducted by the prince of Fortuna, Azure Seth, who ordains that she will replace Alisha, the recently deceased princess since she has the same eyes. However, Nina falls in love with the second prince.
