A recently revealed poll conducted on a Japanese TV show has ranked Eiichiro Oda's series as the most popular one among people in Paris. Although the sample size of the poll is revealed to be very small, the One Piece fandom has taken this as a display of the series' overwhelming popularity among international fans.

In the latest poll conducted among 100 Paris residents for their most famous manga, Eiichiro Oda's series has topped the rankings. The anime has clinched the first spot despite competing with other notable series like Jujutsu Kaisen and Demon Slayer, both of which have become phenomena within the fandom.

Others have also stated how One Piece series has been competing with almost every other new generation manga and it still beats them despite being one of the oldest ongoing series.

Meanwhile, other netizens have criticized the series fandom, arguing that a poll conducted among 100 people proves nothing since the sample size is too small.

"Its just crazy to me how people online still say "🤓 umm actually one piece is only popular in japan"," another fan mentioned.
