One Piece Live Action season 2 confirms Chopper's appearance with a teaser
On Friday, September 20, 2024, One Piece Live Action season 2 unveiled a new promotional video at Netflix's annual Geeked Week event. This video centered on Monkey D. Luffy actor Iñaki Godoy as he seemingly vlogged the first table read for One Piece Live Action season 2.
Right after, the video showed some glimpses of the actors during their table read. The five main actors Jacob Romero (Usopp), Mackenyu Arata (Roronoa Zoro), Iñaki Godoy (Monkey D. Luffy), Emily Rudd (Nami), and Taz Skylar (Sanji) could be seen at the center of it as the rest of the cast and staff members assessed the same.
Immediately after, the video cut to Iñaki Godoy addressing his fans as he had seemingly spotted something unbelievable.
Iñaki Godoy addressing the fans:
"Yo guys, I can't believe who's here to make their debut in season 2. Look at this...Oh my God! This is crazy."
The video then pans to a rear shot of Tony Tony Chopper seated for the table read. With this video, Netflix essentially teased how the doctor of the Straw Hat Pirates would appear in the live action series.
Just as the first season of One Piece Live Action was ending, Monkey D. Luffy could be heard thinking of finding a doctor for the pirate crew. This hinted at Tony Tony Chopper's appearance in the sequel season.
Since then, fans have been wondering how Netflix would present the toddler-sized human-reindeer hybrid. Fortunately, the teaser looks really good, and hopefully, the character's full appearance will look even better.
