Per the post, Oda’s “condition is now improving” as the series is set to begin another two-week break. This sudden two-week hiatus is a result of health problems Oda has been having, making the above update on his condition all the more welcome and exciting.

This news comes after a tumultuous week for the One Piece manga series in terms of its release schedule, which seemingly changed on a daily basis throughout the week. However, the latest update on Oda’s health from the franchise’s official X account confirms beyond any doubt that the series is on break for the next two weeks.

Netflix and Wit Studios are producing a readaptation of the series, with Netflix also adapting the manga into a live-action show.
