The sixth volume to narrate the Egghead Arc in the manga, One Piece Volume 110 will be officially released in Japan on November 1, 2024. The chapters featured in One Piece volume 110 focus on the Egghead Incident, with Dr Vegapunk’s death at the hands of Admiral Borsalino “Kizaru” triggering the broadcast of a message that the scientist had prerecorded.
Determined to stop the broadcast at any cost, the Five Elders arrive in full force on Egghead. As the Straw Hat Pirates do their best to fend off the Five Elders, Vegapunk’s prerecorded message reveals some of the One Piece world’s most shocking secrets. Courtesy of One Piece’s official account on X, it’s possible for the fans to have a look at the cover of volume 110 as well as the official coloration of the Gorosei’s fiendish forms.

The Five Elders stand out menacingly on the cover of One Piece Volume 110 as Luffy, Dorry, and Brogy cheer up Bonney
In anticipation of One Piece Volume 110’s official release, the franchise’s official accounts have already revealed what the cover of this installment will look like. As can be seen on X in the video showing the cover production process, Eiichiro Oda’s scrapped ideas for the illustration include sketches of Vegapunk and the Iron Giant Emet, as well as different designs for Five Elders member Saint V. Nusjuro.
The final version of the cover of One Piece Volume 110 shows rectangular shots of some of the Five Elders in their human forms. Saint Shepherd Ju Peter and Saint Marcus Mars are shown on the sides, while Saint V. Nusjuro and Saint Topman Warcury are depicted at the center.
Above the wicked Elders are Monkey D. Luffy and Jewelry Bonney, laughing together with Dorry and Brogy. Bonney is shown in her true form as a 12-year-old child, with Luffy covering her back as her caring big brother. At their sides, Dorry and Brogy raise up their respective weapons.
Saint Jaygarcia Saturn dominates the scene, towering over Luffy, Bonney, and the Giants as if he wanted to devour them. Unlike his colleagues, the Elder is shown in his Yokai-like transformation.
Saturn appears a hybrid between a human and the Gyuki – also known as Ushi-oni – a dreadful creature with purple skin, dark purple spider-like legs, and brown horns on his head. He also has orange and red flames on his back, as well as a massive white beard.
The cover of One Piece volume 110 is completed by a bright orange background, highlighting the pale pink writing with the name of the pirate-themed franchise.
In addition to showcasing Saturn’s Ushi-oni form on the cover of One Piece Volume 110, Eiichiro Oda has also revealed the official colors of the remaining Gorosei’s transformations. Saint Nusjuro’s Bakotsu – a skeletal burning horse – has a white body with a pink head. He also has a bushy red mane. Saint Warcury’s Yokai, the Fengxi, is a giant aqua-green boar with four large pink tusks.
Saint Mars is transformed into the Itsumade, a multicolor bird-like creature with a snake-like body, enormous wings, and a huge curved beak with saw-like teeth. Essentially, the Itsumade looks like a gigantic, eerie toucan. Finally, Saint Ju Peter’s Sandworm – the only transformation not based on a Yokai of the Japanese folklore – is red in the upper part and dark purple in the lower part.
Just like Saturn, Nusjuro, Warcury, Mars, and Ju Peter are surrounded by clouds of black steam, much like those of Awakened Zoan users.
