On Thursday, June 20, 2024, the Editorial Department of Tonari no Young Jump magazine and manga creator Yusuke Murata announced that One Punch Man manga will be going on a two-month hiatus. The manga series will resume on Thursday, August 22, 2024.
One Punch Man, originally created by ONE and given a manga adaptation by Yusuke Murata, follows the story of Saitama, an overpowered hero who became so strong that he could defeat any opponent with a single punch. Hence, he wished to fight a strong opponent.

One Punch Man manga set to return in August 2024
On Thursday, June 20, 2024, the Editorial Department of Tonari no Young Jump magazine announced that Yusuke Murata's One Punch Man manga series will be going on a two-month hiatus starting today, i.e., Thursday, June 20.
The manga will be going on a hiatus due to various adjustments and preparations manga creator Yusuke Murata needs to make.
Following the hiatus, One Punch Man manga is scheduled to resume with Chapter 202 on Thursday, August 22, 2024.
With that, the Tonari no Young Jump Editorial Department and manga creator Yusuke Murata apologized to the readers for the long wait. Yusuke Murata also assured fans that the manga will be back with more power.
Lastly, the editorial department announced that One Punch Man Volume 31 will be released on Thursday, July 4, 2024.
As fans might remember, after the release of One Punch Man Chapter 202, the manga announced a revamp of its Ninjas Arc. Hence, following the release of Chapter 202, the series went back in time to the events of Chapter 195 as it released a revamped version of the same chapter.
After that, the manga series released redrawn chapters for the Ninjas Arc. Fortunately, with the release of the redrawn One Punch Man Chapter 201, the manga has finally caught up to the events that last took place in the previous version of the Ninjas Arc.
Hence, the upcoming One Punch Man Chapter 202 chapter is bound to feature new developments for Ninjas Arc, possibly the long-awaited rematch between S-Class Hero Blast and his former partner Empty Void.
Unfortunately, while fans were expecting to witness the fight in two weeks, the manga series ended up going on a two-month hiatus.
