On Monday, January 6, 2025, the official staff unveiled a new teaser promotional video and a visual to announce that Osomatsu-san season 4 will premiere in July 2025. Details regarding the anime's main staff have also been included in this announcement. Pierrot Films is in charge of the season's animation.
Osomatsu-san season 4 serves as a continuation of the anime series inspired by Fujio Akatsuka's original comedy manga. The previous installment aired 25 episodes from October 2020 to March 2021 under the production of Studio Pierrot. The upcoming installment will mark the return of the beloved sextuplets and their delicate humor.

On Monday, January 6, 2025, the official website and X (formerly Twitter) account for Osomatsu-san season 4 unveiled a "Super Teaser" promotional video. According to the short clip, the fourth season is set to be released in July 2025, i.e., in Summer 2025. A narrower release date will be revealed in the future.
The teaser trailer shows the sextuplets answering to Osomatsu Matsuno's roll call of the Matsuno family. Additionally, the promotional video extends the latest visual, which depicts the Matsuno brothers relaxing on a bank and going about their daily business.
At the same time, the details regarding the main staff for Osomatsu-san season 4 have been shared. Yoshinori Odaka returns to direct the fourth season at Studio Pierrot's subsidiary studio, Pierrot Films, with Shu Matsubara in charge of the series composition and scripts.
Yoshinori-san has previously worked as the episode director for the series' first and third seasons. Additionally, he directed the Osomatsu-san: Hipipo-Zoku to Kagayaku movie, which was released in July 2022. Besides Odaka-san and Matsubara-san, the main staff includes Eiji Abiko as the character designer.
Comments from the director, series composer, and character designer have arrived on the anime's official website. Odaka-san reveals how excited the staff members are to work on the fourth season. The director hopes they can create work that will "make viewers want to laugh, cry, and dance together."
Likewise, Matsubara-san is delighted to be back. According to Matsubara's comments, some of the episodes in Osomatsu-san season 4 will be related to Summer, since it's releasing in July 2025. Eiji-san has also urged fans to look forward to the series.
The main cast members for the previous installments are reprising their roles in season 4. In other words, the voice cast includes Takahiro Sakurai as Osomatsu Matsuno, Yuichi Nakamura as Karamatsu, Jun Fukuyama as Ichimatsu, Hiroshi Kamiya as Choromatsu, Daisuke Ono as Juushimatsu, and Miyu Irino as Todomatsu.
