This includes a new key visual featuring a majority of the series’ named cast and the announcement of three new cast members and characters for the second season.

Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World season 2 serves as the continuation of the television anime adaptation of author Kei Sazane and illustrator Ao Nekonabe’s original light novel series of the same name. The series originally began serialization in May 2017 and is still ongoing, with a manga adaptation that started in May 2018 and concluded in March 2021.

As mentioned above, Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World season 2 has officially confirmed its Thursday, July 11, 2024, release date. The series will premiere on the Tokyo MX and BS11 broadcast channels at 1:30 am Japanese Standard Time (JST) on July 11. The series will then air on ABC TV and AT-X later on that day, and will also be made available for streaming on the d-Anime store.
Newly announced cast members for the second season include Sho Hayami as Magnacasa Gunfight, Tomokazu Sugita as Sir Karosos Newton, and Kazuyuki Okitsu as Garganly. Previously announced but still new cast members for season 2 include Junya Enoki as Johain and Miyu Tomita as May.
Yuki Inaba is directing the new season at Studio Palette and SILVER LINK, with the former studio also being in charge of the series composition. Kaori Yoshikawa is the sound director for the series at Bit Grooove Promotion. Element Gardens is composing the music, while Pony Canyon is producing the music for the series.
AliA is performing the anime’s opening theme song Senaka Awase, which translates to Back to Back. Meanwhile, Sizuk will perform the anime’s ending theme song Para Bellum, which translates to Prepare for War.
Crunchyroll has previously confirmed that they will stream the new season. The first season premiered in October 2020 and was streamed by Funimation as it aired weekly in Japan. Funimation also produced an English dub for the series.
