Ron Kamonohashi's Forbidden Deductions Season 2 was confirmed by the anime's Twitter account on December 25, 2023. The release date has been confirmed as October 7, 2024. The anime is an adaptation of Akira Amano's manga of the same name.
The anime was originally adapted by Studio Diomedea, which had worked on the 2010 Squid Girl anime and the Domestic Girlfriend anime adaptation. The anime has 13 episodes and features a story focused on murder mystery with a Sherlock Holmes vs. James Moriarty background motif.

Ron Kamonohashi's Forbidden Deductions Season 2 release date
The first season of Ron Kamonohashi's Forbidden Deductions came out on October 2, 2023, during the Fall 2023 anime season.
It ended its run in December 2024 with the confirmation of a second season. The anime's Twitter account revealed that Ron Kamonohashi's Forbidden Deductions Season 2 will be released on October 7, 2024, and will be a part of the Fall 2024 anime lineup.
Yohei Azakami will continue his role as Ron Kamonohashi in Ron Kamonohashi's Forbidden Deductions Season 2. The new opening theme, named "Feedback o Narashite," will be performed by Humbreaders, while the ending theme, "Labyrinth," will be performed by hockrockb.
Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, who has voiced As Nodt from Bleach, Raichi from Blue Lock, and Mechamaru from Jujutsu Kaisen, will be resuming his role as the series antagonist Mylo Moriarty.
Shota Ihata will continue as the director of the series, which will be animated by Studio Diomedea.
Season 1 ended with the reveal that Ron Kamonohashi was a descendant of both the Moriarty Family and the Holmes Family. Ron solidified his resolve to expose the Moriarty Family.
The epilogue of Season 1 also revealed that Mylo was orchestrating the entire situation to expose Ron to the horrors of the Moriarty Family, hoping he would abandon his detective side.
Afterward, Mylo would contemplate bringing Ron into the M. Family. Ron Kamonohashi's Forbidden Deductions Season 1 is available for streaming on Netflix, Crunchyroll and Amazon Prime Video.
The streaming details and episode count for Ron Kamonohashi's Forbidden Deductions Season 2 haven't yet been revealed, but it's possible that they will be announced soon on their Twitter account.
Although the anime didn't gain mainstream popularity, it carved out a niche but dedicated fanbase due to its detective investigation story mixed with elements of fantasy.
