Saturday, September 14, 2024, saw the official website for the Ron Kamonohashi season 2 television anime series begin streaming the sequel’s main promotional video. Within, the series previewed its opening theme song, titled Feedback o Narashite, which translates to Playing Feedback, and will be performed by Humbreaders. The ending theme song was previously revealed as Labyrinth by hockrockb.

The main promotional video for Ron Kamonohashi season 2 also showed new footage from the upcoming season, introducing new characters, suspenseful events, and more. The anime is set to premiere in Japan on Monday, October 7, 2024, at 10:30 pm Japanese Standard Time (JST) on AT-X and Tokyo MX.

The latest promotional video for the Ron Kamonohashi season 2 television anime series began with a focus on the titular character’s rival, Mylo Moriarty. This was followed by the start of the series’ opening theme and a shift in scene to the titular character and co’s endeavors and investigations in the upcoming season. The trailer ended with the protagonist himself squaring off with what appeared to be an assassin targeting him.

As mentioned above, the season will premiere in Japan on Monday, October 7, 2024, on the AT-X and Tokyo MX channels at 10:30 pm JST. This will be followed by airings on KBS Kyoto and Sun TV at 12 am JST on Tuesday, October 8 at 12 am JST. This will then be followed by more October 8 airings on BS11 at 1 am JST, Aichi TV and TV Hokkaido at 1:30 am JST, TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting at 2 am JST, and Shizuoka Broadcasting at 2:19 am JST.

As of this article’s writing, both domestic Japanese and international streaming information for the series has yet to be revealed. The first season streamed on Japan’s most popular platforms such as Netflix, Hulu, Disney Plus, ABEMa, d Anime Story, and U-NEXT, along with many others. Crunchyroll streamed the anime’s first season, fully titled Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective, in Fall 2023 under the Ron Kamonohashi’s Forbidden Deductions title.

Yohei Azakami and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka have been confirmed to return for Ron Kamonohashi season 2 as the titular protagonist and as antagonist Mylo Moriarty, respectively. Shota Ihata directed the anime at Diomedéa studios. Wataru Watari oversaw the series scripts, and Masakazu Ishikawa adapted the original character designs for animation. Yo Tsuji composed the music at Kadokawa.

The series adapts Akira Amano’s original manga series of the same name, which began serialization in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ magazine in October 2020. The manga is still ongoing and regularly serialized there today. Amano is best otherwise known for her Reborn! manga series (which was adapted into a television anime), also known as Katekyo Hitman Reborn! and Hitman Reborn!. Amano is also the mangaka behind the ēlDLIVE series.
