On September 25, 2024, Sengoku Youko announced the delay of episode 24 (season 2, episode 11). The episode was supposed to air on October 2 but will now air on October 9, 2024. The reasons behind this delay were not revealed, but it could be due to the premiere of Re:Zero's upcoming season.

Sengoku Youko synopsis
The anime is a Shounen series in a fantasy world where Katawara, a magical species, exists in harmony with human beings. However, this peace is disturbed by the monks who are trying to create Human-Katawara hybrids for personal gain.
The prequel of the anime series showcased Shinsuke, Jinka, Shakuyaku, and Tama fighting against the monks. The prequel concluded with Senya joining the protagonist's team and fighting the monks in the sequel series, The Thousand Demons Chaos Arc.
