Solo Leveling -ReAwakening- anime film has a new trailer promoting the project
As mentioned earlier, it has been confirmed that the Solo Leveling -ReAwakening- anime film will screen in Japan from November 29 to December 12 and will be in North America on December 6. It is also worth pointing out that this A-1 Pictures production will feature two episodes of the upcoming season, titled Arise From Shadows.
The bulk of the trailer focuses on how the protagonist, Sung Jin-woo, struggles in his job as a hunter due to his weakness and how he becomes a part of the System to get stronger. This trailer also shows elements of the Red Gate arc, which is likely to be one of the main focuses of the second season.
The premise of the film
Sung Jin-woo starts the series as the weakest Hunter in the business and can't get stronger to fight in the Dungeons because every person has a designated level. However, during one mission where everyone but him survives, he becomes a part of the System and can access special training that makes him grow stronger after he overcomes specific obstacles.
The Solo Leveling -ReAwakening- anime film is likely to explain the basis of his character and the different challenges he faces during the first season's events. As mentioned earlier, there is also a good chance that the Red Gate arc will be shown as well as some extra lore involving the Monarchs and the Rulers. However, this is mere speculation at the moment.
