Moreover, a leaked character visual for Cha Hae-in suggests that season 2 could also cover the Jeju Island arc from the manhwa. However, the series will be available for streaming on Crunchyroll for international audiences when it releases. Crunchyroll streamed the first season outside Japan, including the English-dubbed version.

What to expect in Solo Leveling season 2: Arise from the Shadow?

Considering the first season covered up to 45 chapters from Chugong's manhwa, ending with the Job Change Arc, Solo Leveling season 2: Arise from the Shadow will begin the adaptation from chapter 46, and begin with the Red Gate Arc. Fans can expect new challenges for Jinwoo, as he will get trapped in the Red Gate.

Besides the Red Gate arc, the sequel might adapt the Demon Castle arc, Retesting Rank arc, Hunters Guild Gate arc, and Return to the Demon Castle arc, if the pacing remains the same as the previous installment.

That said, a leaked character sheet for the lead heroine, Cha Hae-in, suggests that season 2 could even cover the Jeju Island arc. However, fans have to wait for an official confirmation from the anime's staff regarding the pacing.

Also, the producer of the series, Sota Furuhashi mentioned during an interview with Crunchyroll that the sequel will focus more on the side characters than Sung Jinwoo. Therefore, season 2 could break the mold and surpass the manhwa.
