Berserk anime created by Eclypse Studio, a fan production house, uploaded a trailer of the anime and announced its release window. The studio took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and announced that the anime would make its debut in the Summer of 2025.
This is a passion project taken up by die-hard Berserk fans who wish to produce a good adaptation of Kentaro Miura’s magnum opus. The announcement was made on July 1, 2024, at 3:15 am JST. The trailer looked impressive, and it’s commendable that a small-scale fan production house has taken up such a massive project.
Studio Eclypse’s fan-made Berserk anime trailer
The trailer revealed that Studio Exlypse will be animating the Black Swordsman arc of the manga series. This arc will revolve around Guts, the protagonist of the series, and will follow his adventures. The trailer was short, showcasing all the important elements that fans will recognize from the manga series. The very first shot of the trailer showcased the Beherit before it proceeded to introduce Guts. The protagonist of the Berserk anime was seen being tortured, as he was bound by chains and had several cuts on his body.
Soon, the trailer introduced Conrad, who was a member of God Hand. After a couple of action sequences, Griffith made his appearance on screen. He is one of the main antagonists in the series and plays a crucial role in the plot. Fans also see the Brand of Sacrifice being formed in the sky moments later. This trailer included all the important aspects of the story but did so in a cryptic manner without spoiling anything for potential new fans.
