Although the wait for That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 has put the fans straining on the leash for its release in the Spring of 2024, it is a relief that the series is dropping a new spin-off that will keep the hype consistent among the fanbase.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Coleus' Dream will be a three-episode spin-off series that will release in the Fall of 2023. On May 9, 2023, the light novel series revealed more details, including the returning staff members, a Key visual introducing the two new characters to the franchise, a concept visual art of the Colueus Kingdom, and more.

Miho Okasaki, the voice actor who plays the series' protagonist, Rimuru Tempest, will provide the ending theme song for the spin-off series. The ED is yet to be released, and its title remains a mystery as well. However, comments from Oksaki regarding the excitement for the spin-off and her performance have arrived.
Here’s how Miho Okasaki shared her zeal for the upcoming spin-off and her theme song:
"Hello! I am Miho Okazaki. I am pleased to announce that I will be in charge of the ending theme song for Korius' Dream. When I first heard about this project, I was just like, "A dream! I was so excited to be asked to sing the theme song for the ending of "Coleus' Dream."
"It has been about 5 years since I first met Rimuru, and I feel every day that Tensura is loved by everyone. The role of Rimuru is indispensable in my life as a voice actor. I hope I can bring you the scenery I saw and felt from there, along with the world of the work. I look forward to working with you!"
A new key visual was released featuring the vampire Luminous Valentine (on the left) and Ultima, also known as Primordial of Violet (on the right), two pivotal characters in the three-episode spin-off. The key visual also gave a first look at Rimuru’s disguise in the Coleus' Dream, The Great Phantom Theif Satoru.
The series also gave a sneak peek at the Coleus Kingdom in new concept art, which will be the prime setting for the spin-off. Atsushi Nakayama will return to direct That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Coleus' Dream at Studio Eight Bit. Besides Nakayama, all the important previous staff members will return for the spin-off.
