On August 16, 2024, Kadokawa, one of the biggest production companies in Japan, revealed a PV for the anime adaptation of The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World. The anime adaptation is set to air in 2025, and the main character's voice actor was also announced.
The anime is based on a manga series written by Hifumi Asakura and illustrated by Uniharu. The manga series started its serialization in April 2019 and ended in May 2024 with a total of 7 volumes in publication. The source of the manga series is a light novel series from the same author, illustrated by Yamakawa, that was completed in June 2021.

Exchanging goods for cash in exchange for which he can buy items through online shopping, Kenichi discovers a way to make a comfortable living in this world, but how long can he keep living this life of luxury?
