According to the announcement, The Dangers in My Heart anime movie will be a specially edited version of the TV series, including new scenes featuring Ichikawa and Yamada. The original anime adaptation aired 12 episodes from April to June 2023.

A season 2 was followed, which released 13 episodes from January to March 2024. The series serves as an adaptation of Norio Sakurai's rom-com manga series of the same name. Akita Shoten's Manga Cross magazine serializes the manga, with 10 tankobon volumes published thus far.

The television adaptation of Norio Sakurai's manga series aired on TV Asahi and its affiliated channels in April 2023. HIDIVE streamed the series in selected global regions as it aired in Japan.
