The Dangers in My Heart anime movie has been confirmed for production. This was announced via a special promotional video during the show's Fan Appreciation event held on Sunday, September 29, 2024. Norio Sakurai, the original author, has also shared a drawn congratulatory illustration to commemorate the film's production.

According to the announcement, The Dangers in My Heart anime movie will be a specially edited version of the TV series, including new scenes featuring Ichikawa and Yamada. The original anime adaptation aired 12 episodes from April to June 2023.

A season 2 was followed, which released 13 episodes from January to March 2024. The series serves as an adaptation of Norio Sakurai's rom-com manga series of the same name. Akita Shoten's Manga Cross magazine serializes the manga, with 10 tankobon volumes published thus far.

On Sunday, September 29, 2024, the official staff held a Fan Appreciation event at Shinjuku Wald 9, Tokyo, for the show's "Retrospective Screening." During the event, the staff announced the production of The Dangers in My Heart anime movie with a promotional video. No release information for the film was announced.

The PV features heartwarming scenes featuring Kyotaro Ichikawa and Anna Yamada. The short clip showcases their beautiful chemistry as Kyotaro confesses his feelings of love to Yamada in their classroom. The anime's official site and X handle have shared the video with fans.

Notably, The Dangers in My Heart movie will be an edited version of the original television anime series by Shin-Ei Animation, with new added scenes depicting what happens to Ichikawa and Yamada's story after the finale. Norio Sakurai, the author of the original manga series, has shared a congratulatory illustration, featuring Kyotaro Ichikawa and Anna Yamada to commemorate the movie's production.

The television adaptation of Norio Sakurai's manga series aired on TV Asahi and its affiliated channels in April 2023. HIDIVE streamed the series in selected global regions as it aired in Japan. Following its success, the anime was renewed for a sequel, which premiered in January this year and ran for 13 episodes till April 2024.

The anime stars Hina Youmiya as Anna Yamada, Shun Horie as Kyotaro Ichikawa, Yukari Tamura as Kana Ichikawa, Megumi Han as Moeko Sekine, Yuko Minaguchi as Sanae Yamada, Yoshimasa Hosoya as Yuuki Yamada, and others. These voice actors will return to reprise their roles in The Dangers in My Heart anime movie.

Based on Norio Sakurai's manga, the rom-com anime follows Kyotaro Ichikawa, who spends his days dreaming about how to destroy the peaceful lives of his classmates and pin everything on the class's diva, Anna Yamada. However, once he gets to know Anna better, he develops feelings he didn't know existed in him.
