The Foolish Angel Dances with the Devil anime is a highly anticipated series, thanks in part to the popularity of its source material (of which the anime is set to be a faithful adaptation). Based on social media reaction, the large following that author and illustrator Swayoshi Azuma’s original manga series has garnered, will translate to the anime’s premiere.
The roughly 75-second long promotional video for The Foolish Angel Dances with the Devil anime focuses primarily on central characters Masatora Akutsu and Lily Amane. Starring cast for these two characters and several others have already been announced, with additional casting news likely to come as the series’ release window draws nearer.

The series follows Masatoru Akutsu, a demon on a recruitment mission in a human high school with the purpose of recruiting allies for Hell against Heaven’s angels. However, he meets angel-in-disguise Lily Amane on the first day, immediately recognizing her as an enemy while developing hidden feelings for her.
