Produced by Studio Elle, The Healer Who Was Banisdshed From His Party anime (fully titled, The Healer Who Was Banished From His Party is Actually the Strongest) serves as an adaptation of the author Kagekinoko and illustrator Kakao Rantan's light novel series of the same name. As mentioned earlier, the official staff shared a commercial PV on Saturday, August 10, 2024, to announce that The Healer Who Was Banished From His Party anime will be released on October 5, 2024. The 30-second-long commercial, narrated by Kensho Ono, was uploaded on NBC Universal's official YouTube channel.
The short clip features Laust, Narsena, and other important characters from the fantasy anime, and teases the anime's intriguing narrative. Aside from that, the commercial highlights the broadcast details.
According to the video, The Healer Who Was Banished From His Party anime will air its episodes every Saturday on ABC TV, Asahi TV, and 22 affiliated channels at 26:00 JST starting October 5, 2024 (effectively 2 AM JST, October 6, 2024). Additionally, the series will be broadcast every Thursday at 2 AM JST, starting October 11, 2024.
Cast, staff, and the plot of The Healer Who Was Banished From His Party anime
The Healer Who Was Banished From His Party anime features a star-studded cast and staff. Kensho Ono stars as the protagonist, Laust, while Kaori Maeda voices the heroine, Narsena. Hina Tachibana, the renowned VA, plays the role of Armia, while Rie Hikisaka voices Amherst.
Yuichiro Umehara has joined the cast as Sieg, while Shinichiro Miki stars as Ronaldo. Other cast members include Yukari Tamura as Ralma, Toshiya Miyata as Hansem, Hiroshi Iwasaki as Mist, and Marie Hashimoto as Saberia.
Keisuke Onishi directs the Isekai anime at Studio Elle, with Kurasumi Sunayama supervising the series composition and scripts. Yumiko Mizuno is credited as the character designer, while Tatsuya Yano and Naoki Tani are in charge of the music composition.
Hina Tachibana performs the anime's opening theme song, Saikyo? Saikyo! Brave My Heart. The ending theme song is yet to be revealed.
Based on Kagekinoko's light novels, the narrative for The Healer Who Was Banished From His Party anime follows healer Raust and the martial artist Narusena.
While Raust is part of a top-class party, he gets booted because the leader feels he isn't contributing much to the team. Following that, Raust teams up with Narusena, a martial artist, and reveals to her his biggest secret: while he is a healer, he fights well in close combat.
