Following the conclusion of the Great Spirit arc, The Misfit of Demon King Academy season 2 part 2 covers two major arcs from the light novel - the Selection Trial arc and the Jiordal, Kingdom of the Divine Dragon arc.
The previous arc gained recognition for featuring many great battles where Anos Voldigoad emerged victorious over formidable opponents like Nosgalia and Zeke Ozma. Moreover, the Selection Trial arc presented the Demon King of Tyranny with several new challenges. In fact, Anos was featured more prominently in this arc.
