The Old Man Reincarnated as a Villainess anime is set to premiere on January 9, 2025. This was confirmed by the anime's official staff via a new promotional video on Thursday, November 14, 2024. At the same time, the staff unveiled a new key visual and additional cast members for the series.
Under the production of Aija-do, The Old Man Reincarnated as a Villainess anime is based on the Isekai manga series of the same name, written and illustrated by Michiro Ueyama. The manga has been serialized in Shonen Gahosha's Young King Ours GH magazine since March 2020, with seven tankobon volumes published thus far.

According to the broadcast information, The Old Man Reincarnated as a Villainess anime will air its episodes every Thursday, at 12:26 AM JST, on the Super Animeism TURBO programming slot on MBS, TBS, and 28 affiliated networks in Japan, starting January 9, 2025. International fans from selected regions can watch the anime on HIDIVE.
The latest short clip shows the 52-year-old bureaucrat, Kenzaburo Tondabayashi reincarnated as Grace Auvergene, the villainess of the otome game, Magical School Love & Beast, after losing his life to a tragic accident. The trailer shows his peril as the villainess of an unknown world.
The new key visual released for The Old Man Reincarnated as a Villainess anime shows Grace aka Kenzaburo and other students of the Royal Magic Academy, standing next to each other in a room decorated with Kenzaburo Tondabayashi's portrait.
Additionally, the staff has announced new cast members. Akio Otsuka has joined the voice cast as Leopold Auvergne, while Yu Sasahara plays Josette. They will be joined by Yuki Kuwahara, who lends her voice to Francette Mercure.
The anime's official site has shared comments from the respective voice actors, where they revealed their jubilation for being part of the series.

Staff and the plot of The Old Man Reincarnated as a Villainess anime
Tetsuya Takeuchi directs the Isekai fantasy series at Ajia-do, with Shingo Ire supervising the series scripts. Haruka Matsunae is in charge of the character designs, while Yuki Miyamoto is credited as the monster designer. Natsumi Tabuchi, Tsugumi Tanaka, Kaho Sawada, Reiko Abe, and Misaki Tsuchida are the show's music composers.
Based on Ueyama-san's manga, the anime centers on Kenzaburo Tondabayashi, a 52-year-old bureaucrat, who one day dies in a traffic accident. When he regains consciousness, he discovers that he has been reincarnated into a fantasy world, as the villainess, Grace Auvergne, a duke's daughter.
