On Wednesday, July 31, 2024, the Editorial Department of Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine announced that Nakaba Suzuki's The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse manga will be going on an indefinite hiatus due to the creator's poor health.
Four Knights of the Apocalypse is a sequel manga series to The Seven Deadly Sins. In addition, the manga is also being given an anime adaptation, produced by TMS Entertainment and animated by Telecom Animation Film.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse goes on indefinite hiatus ahead of Chapter 158
On Wednesday, July 31, 2024, Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine issue #35 was supposed to serialize The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse Chapter 158. However, instead of a chapter, the magazine's Editorial Department posted an announcement for the series fans.
Nakaba Suzuki's The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse manga will be going on an indefinite hiatus due to the creator's poor health, The Editorial Department apologized to the fans who were looking forward to the manga chapter and assured them that they will resume the manga's serialization as soon as Nakaba Suzuki's health returns. With that, they asked fans to be patient and keep supporting the series.
That said, the preview for the magazine's next issue, i.e., the combined issue 36 and 37, which will be released on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, has listed a new chapter from The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse as part of its table of contents. But given the announcement about the manga's indefinite hiatus, there is a good chance that the listing is a mistake that is yet to be corrected.
