The official staff for The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse season 2 streamed the main trailer on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, ahead of the show's October 6, 2024, premiere. The staff also revealed additional cast members and details regarding the theme songs. A new visual has also been unveiled.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse season 2 will pick the events from the previous installment, which ran from October 2023 to March 2023 for two cours. The series is an adaptation of The Seven Deadly Sin's manga's sequel by Nakaba Suzuki.

On Tuesday, the official website and X account for The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse season 2 shared the main promotional video ahead of its October 6, 2024, premiere on TBS and its 27 affiliated channels.
The short video shows new characters and captivating battle scenes where the main characters face their nemesis, Arthur. Interestingly, the PV previews the opening theme song, MMH, by the Japanese rock band UVERworld. The ending theme song, Akairo, has been performed by Hana Hope.
The official staff has also unveiled the main visual for The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse season 2. It depicts Percival and his friends exploring the Walled City of the Wolnack. Besides Percival and others, the illustration depicts two shadowy figures.
New cast members have also been announced. Michiko Kaiden stars as Teaninich, a knight of Chaos who can control small creatures. Kenji Nomura plays the role of Macduff, another knight of chaos who is brilliant in martial arts. Yumiri Hanamori has also joined the voice cast as Io. The official site has posted the designs for the new characters.

The sequel will see the previous cast members reprising their roles, with Koki Uchiyama as Lancelot, Sho Komura as Percival, Sachi Kokuryu as Arthur Pendragon, Ayumu Murase as Triston Liones, Yuki Kaji as Meliodas, and others.
Maki Odaira directs the sequel at Telecom Animation Film, with Shigeru Murakoshi in charge of the scripts. Youichi Takada is credited as the character designer, while Kohta Yamamoto and Hiroyuki Sawano are the main theme composers. Kohta-san is also a music composer.
Since the previous installment covered the manga till 80 chapters, The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse season 2 will pick up the events from chapter 81. The sequel will cover the rest of the Chaos in the Liones Arc and begin the Wolnack Arc.
