The Unaware Atelier Master anime confirms April 2025 release and more with PV

On Friday, October 18, 2024, the official staff announced the production of The Unaware Atelier Master anime with a promotional video and key visual. According to the announcement, the series will premiere in April 2025, i.e., in Spring 2025. Details regarding the main cast and staff members have also been revealed.

The Unaware Atelier Master anime is based on the light novel series by author Yosuke Tokino and illustrator Zounoze. AlphaPolis has been serializing the light novel since 2019, publishing ten volumes thus far. The series also has a manga adaptation with Naharu Furukawa's illustrations. EMT Squared is producing the anime.

The Unaware Atelier Master anime's trailer confirms the April 2025 release window

A new website and X account were opened on Friday, October 18, 2024, to confirm the production of The Unaware Atelier Master anime, based on Yosuke Tokino's light novel series. The official staff shared a teaser promotional video to announce the fantasy anime's April 2025 release window. The exact release date will be revealed in the future.

The trailer features Kurt, a kind-hearted boy, who gets kicked out of the hero's party for his low aptitude for combat-related skills. In the short clip, Kurt is seen taking odd jobs to earn his living. Aside from Kurt, the PV features Yulicia, a former adventurer with royal lineage, and Liselotte, the third princess of the Homulos Kingdom.

The short video features the character voices of Kurt, Yulicia, and Liselotte. Mikako Komatsu stars as Kurt, while Asami Seto plays the role of Yulicia. They are joined by Minami Tanaka, who voices Liselotte.

Along with the promotional video, the official staff has unveiled a key visual for The Unaware Atelier Master anime. The visual depicts Kurt holding a magic crystal, with Liselotte and Yuricia peering at him from behind. The characters are set against a captivating fantasy background.

The anime's staff has shared comments from the original author, Yosuke Toriko, who reveals that the story was written to be a funny, craft-based cheat fantasy narrative. As such, the author hopes the adaptation will delight the viewers.

Likewise, the staff has shared celebratory visuals from the light novel's illustrator, Zounoze, and the manga adaptation's artist, Naharu Furukawa. Zounoze-san's illustration features Kurt and other important characters from the series, while Naharu-san's drawing depicts only the protagonist, Kurt.

Hisashi Ishii directs the action fantasy anime at EMT Squared Studios, with Deko Akao supervising the series scripts and composition. Deko Akao is noted for their contributions to the Komi Can't Communicate anime. Besides them, the anime credits Miyuki Nakamura as the character designer and Harikemu Wata as the music producer.

Based on Yosuke-san's light novel, The Unaware Atelier Master anime is a fantasy narrative about a boy named Kurt, who has zero aptitude in combat. As such, he gets kicked from his Hero Party. Therefore, he begins to take odd jobs, such as repairing the castle walls or digging the minerals to earn his living.

Interestingly, the boy doesn't know that he has the highest aptitude in almost everything but fighting skills. As such, the fantasy anime explores Kurt, who ends up saving people, the town, and even the country, fully oblivious of his talent.
