With the recent release of One Piece episode 1062, it feels as though the television anime adaptation of author and illustrator Eiichiro Oda’s original manga is the hottest thing going. Many fans have been marveling at the fantastic animation of the episode's fight, and Zoro's astonishing display of power is all they can talk about.
Some are even going as far as to call One Piece episode 1062 and its direct predecessor 1061 the best two-episode stretch in the series’ history from an animation perspective. While opinion on this topic is subjective, it is evident that the latest episode, as well as the one before it, featured some of the best animation sequences in the series' history.
In fact, excitement and hype surrounding One Piece episode 1062 have even spurred animation studio Toei Animation into releasing a new celebratory key visual for the Wano arc. While the key visual isn’t completely new, it features an exciting change which is also emblematic of Toei’s efforts to keep all of Wano’s climax a surprise.

Toei Animation updates exciting key visual following One Piece episode 1062’s release
As mentioned above, the latest key visual is technically not a fully new one, but rather a reprint of a previous entry with an interesting tweak made. Fans can see that King the Conflagration’s mask has been fully removed, allowing his face and all its Lunarian characteristics to be seen.
The update comes as a result of King’s face being revealed in One Piece episode 1062 during the climactic finale of his fight against Roronoa Zoro. It also marks the first time in the anime series that his face has been fully revealed. Per Toei’s tweet, the new key visual is in celebration of and thanking fans for watching the latest anime episode.
The major Wano arc antagonists such as Big Mom, Kaido, King the Conflagration, and Queen the Plague can all be seen in the visual. Big Mom is the Captain of the Big Mom Pirates who is teaming up with fellow Yonko Kaido, the Captain of the Animal Kingdom Pirates, of which the King and Queen are commanders.
The key visual is meant to be part of a pair, with the other half featuring a brighter background and showcasing the young rookie pirates who fight the four. This includes Monkey D. Luffy, who is fighting Kaido, Vinsmoke Sanji, who defeated Queen in episode 1061, Roronoa Zoro, who defeated King in episode 1062, and Trafalgar D. Water Law and Eustass Kid, who are fighting Big Mom together.
With half of these fights now concluded, the climax of the Wano arc is clearly underway. Fans can’t wait to see what’s in store as the Supernova Captains of Law, Kid, and Luffy face off against Big Mom and Kaido in upcoming installments.
