On December 15, 2024, the official website of Tower of God season 2 revealed that there are two more episodes left for the sequel series after episode 24, making its total count to 26. Moreover, the finale will also be screened in Japanese cinemas days before the official release date. The cinema screening will feature some voice-casting members and staff members.

Tower of God is based on a manhwa series written and illustrated by SIU. It is one of the most influential manhwa series and received its first anime adaptation in 2020 by Telecom Animation Film. The sequel changed animation studios to The Answer Studio.

As revealed by the production team, Tower of God season 2 is scheduled to end with episode 26 on December 29, 2024. This means that there are only two episodes left for the sequel series, after the airing of episode 24 (December 15).

Moreover, an early screening of the finale is slated to be released in Japanese cinemas on December 26, 2024. The cinema screening will take place at the Human Trust Cinema Shibuya, located in the Shibuya Prefecture of Japan.

Some special guests will also attend the cinema screening, including the voice of Viole/Baam Taichi Ishikawa (Reito from World End Harem), the voice of Endorsi Jahad Rie Suegara (Tomie from Junji Ito: Maniac), and the sequel series' director Akira Satoshi.

The screening will start with the airing of the finale episode (as a compilation with episodes 24 and 25). After that, an interactive talk show will be conducted with the voice-casting members. The tickets for this cinema screening of Tower of God season 2 are set to go on sale from December 19, 2024.

Tower of God season 2 part 2 titled Workshop Battle saw Viole reveal his true colors before FUG after which the organization also revealed the actual reason behind their collaboration. The protagonist was then thrown into a lair as he was to be used as fuel to power up Enryu's Thorn. However, as this news was announced, the protagonist's friends couldn't stay still and devised a rescue plan for their friend.

Eventually, Viole escaped the lair alongside Enryu's thorn and met Wangnan at the summoning point. As Wangnan was about to summon Viole, Beta stabbed the former and delayed the summoning. However, with Rak and Yihwa bringing their trump card to the battle, Viole was summoned. Viole then had a heated battle against Beta, which ended with Beta's defeat.
