About the anime
Based on Yaongyi's webtoon, the narrative follows Lim Joo-kyung (Jugyeoung), who is always bullied for her appearance. One day, she transforms herself with makeup and transfers to Saebom High School to leave behind her traumatic days. Interestingly, Saebom High is famous for producing influencers, actors, idols, and other celebrity figures, because of its tradition of anonymous voting for the institution's True Beauty Goddess.
As such, the students get scouted by various agencies from the entertainment sector. Jugyeoung quickly becomes sensational at her school, gaining the title of the next True Beauty candidate. She also mingles with Su-jin, the former two-time champion. However, Su-jin's friendly nature hides her malicious intent; she wants to bring down Jugyeoung using cunning tactics.
Refusing to fall victim again, Jugyeoung confronts Sujin and vows to become the next Goddess. However, her life takes an unexpected turn when the school's heartthrob figure, Lee Su-ho, accidentally sees her bare face. Additionally, Jugyeoung crosses paths with the dashing Seo-jun, who wants to unveil her actual identity.
