Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister anime is set to premiere on October 1, 2024, and run for 24 episodes, as confirmed by the anime's official staff on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, via the main promotional video. The short clip also reveals the show's opening theme song.

Under the production of Studio Drive, Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister anime serves as an adaptation of Marcey Naito's eponymous manga series. Naito-san launched the manga as a one-shot in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2020. Eventually, the magazine green-lit it for serialization.

On Tuesday, August 20, 2024, the official website and X (formerly Twitter) handle for the Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister anime shared the full promotional video and announced October 1, 2024, as the show's release date. The anime is slated for a two-cour run with 24 episodes.

Broadcast information has also arrived, according to which, Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister anime will air its episodes every Tuesday from 24:00 JST, on TV Tokyo, BS Nippon, and other channels, starting October 1, 2024 (effectively, Wednesday, 12 am JST, October 2, 2024).

The latest trailer features the main protagonist, Uryu Kamihate, and the three Amagami sisters, Asahi, Yuna, and Yae. Additionally, the short clip shows Shirahi Tsuruyama and other important characters. The video previews the character voices of Uryu, Asahi, and others and shows breathtaking scenery.

Moreover, the trailer previews the opening theme song, Yawaku Koishite ~Zutto Bokura de Iramaeru Yo ni~ (Love Me Gently ~May We Stay Together Forever~), by Momoiro Clover Z. Comments from the theme song artist and the lyricist, Kenji Otsuki, and the composer, NARASAKI, have arrived on the anime's official site, where they hoped the song will resonate with the viewers.

Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister anime will have an advanced screening with a talk event on September 5, 2024, at the Shinjuku Piccadilly in Tokyo, Japan. The voice actors of Yae, Yuna, Asahi, and Uryu, will be present at the event.

The anime stars Ryota Suzuki as Uryu Kamihate, Sumire Uesaka as Yae Amagami, Kaede Hondo as Yuna Amagami, Shion Wakayama as Asahi Amagami, Chika Anzai as Shirahi Tsuruyama, and Nana Mizuki as Mahiro Anekoji.

Yujiro Abe directs the series at Studio Drive, with Hiroshi Watanabe as the assistant director and Yasuko Aoki as the script supervisor and writer. Haruko Iizuka, renowned for his contributions to Horiyama, is credited as the character designer. Ryo Kawasaki and Tomoyuki Kono are the music composers, with Takayuki Yamaguchi as the sound director.

Even though his foster home is a working shrine, the boy's peaceful life is disrupted as he has to live with three beautiful Amagami sisters. What's more, he learns that he has to marry one of them and take over the temple's responsibilities.
