On Tuesday, December 24, 2024, the official website of the Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister anime announced that it will return with its second cour on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. The anime staff also revealed information about the anime's new opening theme song titled Pray Pray Pray.
Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister, written and illustrated by Marcey Naito, is a Japanese manga series serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine. The manga series was picked up for an anime adaptation by Drive and started premiering in October 2024. With half the anime aired as part of Fall 2024, the remainder will air in the Winter 2025 season.
Tying the Knot With an Amagami Sister set to start second cour in January 2025
On Tuesday, December 24, 2024, the official website of Tying the Knot With an Amagami Sister revealed that the anime will return with its second cour on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 12 am JST, on TV Tokyo and its six affiliate channels, and BS NTV.
The anime also announced its new opening theme song for its second cour. The song will be called Pray Pray Pray and will be performed by the voice actors of the three Amagami sisters, namely Sumire Uesaka (Yae Amagami), Kaede Hondo (Yuna Amagami), and Shion Wakayama (Asahi Amagami).
In addition, the anime also announced a New Year Retrospective special episode. This episode will be broadcast on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 12 AM JST, i.e., a week before the anime returns with its second cour.
Tying the Knot With an Amagami Sister first premiered on October 2, 2024. The anime was announced for 24 episodes, set to release over two cours for a half-year run. With the first half already aired, the anime is set to air its second half with the remaining episodes. It will be available to stream simultaneously on Amazon Prime Video in Japan and Crunchyroll worldwide.

Tying the Knot With an Amagami Sister follows the story of Uryuu Kamihate, a high school student aiming to get admission into Kyoto University's Medical School. After living in an orphanage for most of his life, Uryuu starts living at the Amagami Shrine, where the head priest asks him to marry one of his three granddaughters.
