The PV ended with the reveal of the sequel's release window, January 2025.

Out of the four original idol groups featured in the first season, only three will continue their journey in UniteUp! season 2 as AneLa retired in the previous season. The main protagonist's idol group is named Protostar.

The voice casting for this idol group includes Akira Kiyose, voiced by Kikunosuke Toya (Tomiyama from Wind Breaker), Chihiro Izusugawa voiced by Amon Hirai, and Banri Naoe, voiced by Ryoutarou Yamaguchi.

The purpose of the series is to introduce hidden voice actors who are either new or haven't been recognized, even though they are considered hidden gems.
