The news on Unnamed Memory season 2 comes immediately after the airing of the 12th and final episode of the anime’s first season on Tuesday. Unfortunately, as of this article’s writing, there is no additional information on the second season beyond this general January 2025 release window.

Likewise, the Unnamed Memory season 2 promotional video offers no glimpse at new scenes from the upcoming second season. Instead, the 15-second-long teaser trailer revisits key moments from the first season in a flashback-like sense. As the focus on these scenes concludes, the trailer shifts to revealing the confirmation of the second season and its January 2025 release window, ending shortly thereafter.
Thankfully, fans can expect additional information to begin releasing sometime in the next few months, likely starting with a full-fledged trailer since the release window has already been confirmed. It’s even possible that this next trailer fans will get from the series will also reveal its formal release date, with the current release window not narrowing anything down beyond the January 2025 month.
This is further supported by the fact that the second season has been planned for quite some time considering its announcement on the same day of the first season’s conclusion. With this in mind, fans can expect a full-length trailer for the second season much sooner than they normally otherwise could.
