One Piece chapter 1133 delivered a heartfelt moment as Nico Robin reunited with Jaguar D. Saul, the giant who saved her during the Ohara Incident. The emotional reunion caused Robin to break down in tears as she hugged Saul. Chapter 1133 also featured a flashback of Robin deciding to keep on living as she reflected on her mother, Nico Olvia, and Saul's final words to her.

This reunion has sparked fan theories about Robin's origins, with fans wondering whether her entire backstory has been revealed. Some speculate there’s more to her past, especially her mother's origins. A popular theory suggests that Robin’s mother might have some Lunarian blood, connecting Robin to the species as well.

Nico Robin's backstory in One Piece is one of tragedy and loss. She is the sole survivor of the Ohara Incident, a genocide that occurred 22 years ago when the World Government discovered that the island's archaeologists were researching the Poneglyphs. This led to a buster call being ordered on the island, with everyone on the island being killed, except for Robin.

Following the incident, Robin was branded a criminal due to her ability to read the Poneglyphs. A bounty of 79,000,000 berries was placed on her head, with the official reason being that she had sunk six buster call battleships. Ever since then, she had been living as a fugitive.

It wasn't until she found the Straw Hat Pirates that Robin's worldview changed and she wanted to live her life to the fullest. She is an integral part of Luffy's crew, with her ability to read the Poneglyphs, making her imperative to finding the One Piece.

While Robin's backstory has been explored in depth in One Piece, the past of her mother, Nico Olvia, remains somewhat of a mystery. It’s possible that Olvia was half-Lunarian, which could be supported by her silver-white hair and brown skin. This might explain why she was researching the Poneglyphs—to uncover what happened during the Void Century.

If Olvia is half-Lunarian, then Robin would also have Lunarian heritage. Although she doesn’t have black wings, her tremendous vitality and resilience align with Lunarian physiology. Robin has withstood direct hits from Yama’s kicks and punches, survived being impaled through the chest by Crocodile, and remained alive without any medical attention.

Robin has also demonstrated incredible reaction speed, managing to catch two of the Tontatta Dwarves and easily restraining Hakuba, who tried to sneak attack her. She also has an extraordinary recovery rate, managing to wake up quickly after Gecko Moria stole her shadow, something that leaves most people unconscious for a while.

She was also the first to wake up after being headshot by Enel and used her Devil Fruit powers to carry Zoro, Wyper, and Gan Fall to safety. Despite being knocked multiple times by Black Maria's brass knuckles, Robin still had the strength to use Demon Fleur, proving her remarkable recovery ability.

Another real possibility is that Robin could eventually be kidnapped by the World Government. While they failed to do so during the Egghead arc, it is possible the Holy Knights may capture her while she’s at Elbaph Island. This could lead to her discovering crucial information about the world's true history.

A confrontation between Robin and Imu might also trigger the awakening of her Devil Fruit, revealing the true potential of her abilities and shedding light on her origins. It's certain that Robin will play a pivotal role in the One Piece finale, and fans are eager to see what Oda has planned for her character.
