Dreams are a central part of the plotline of One Piece and fans have witnessed this from the very first episode of the series, which started with Luffy declaring his dream to become the King of the Pirates.
But it is not just Luffy's dream that is important. Zoro's dream to become the best swordsman of the Grand Line, Nami's dream to construct a full map of the Grand Line, Usopp's wish to become the bravest warrior of the Grand Line, and everyone else's dreams in the series hold grave importance.
While each character's dreams are difficult to fulfill, the hardest one seems to be Tashigi's. She aims to collect all Meito from pirates who are using these as a way to fulfill selfish desires. The reasons behind her dream might be something good, but the dream is nearly impossible to complete considering how these swords are scattered throughout the world

One Piece: Exploring why Tashigi's dream is nearly impossible to achieve
Meito is a term used in One Piece for any named weapon. Although it mostly consists of blades and swords, some other weapons are considered Meito, like Yamato's kanabo named Takeru and many others.
Meito are divided into different grades based on their power grades. The strongest Meito are the Supreme Grade ones, such as Gol D. Roger's Ace. After this grade are the Great Grade ones, such as Roronoa Zoro's Wado Ichimonji.
The third ones are the Skillful Grade ones, such as Tashigi's Kashu. Lastly, there are the Simple Grades ones, such as Roronoa Zoro's Sandei Kitetsu. Additionally, some Meito weapons are of unknown grades, like Shiryu's Raiu.
Tashigi is a Marine officer working under Vice Admiral Smoker. She resembles Kuina, Zoro's childhood friend, due to which the Straw Hat member experiences difficulty facing her. Just like most of the characters in the series, Tashigi is also pursuing a dream but her dream is something that only a miracle can complete.
Tashigi aims to collect every Meito from pirates who are using them for selfish aims. Some of the Meito swords are already in possession of the Marine Corps, such as Fujitora's Yakuza Kasen, but the majority of these swords are possessed by some of the strongest pirates.
Yoru, one of the Supreme Grade Swords, is owned by the former warlord of the sea and former Marine Hunter, Dracule Mihawk. He is also the strongest swordsman of the Grand Line, meaning Tashigi has no chance of going against him.
Roronoa Zoro, a master of the three-sword style, possesses three of the strongest Meito blades: Enma, Sandei Kitetsu, and Wado Ichimonji. Tashgi saw Zoro's level of swordsmanship during the Punk Hazard arc, and there was an exceptional difference between their skills.
Whitebeard's Murakumogiri is at his grave and Gol D. Roger's Ace's location is unknown. But Tashigi possessing these swords is also nearly impossible as the Whitebeard Pirates and Roger Pirates would never let someone take the sword their captains used when they were alive.
Currently, Tashigi has possession of three Meito swords: Shigure, Kashu, and Yamaoroshi. Out of these three swords, Shigure, the Simple Grade Sword, is Tashigi's blade. However, achieving her dream of having every Meito sword in her possession might be close to impossible for her, when compared to Zoro or any other swordsmen's dreams.
