One Piece chapter 1096 raw scans: First look at Rocks Pirates cut short as God Valley flashback ends early

One Piece chapter 1096’s raw scans were released on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, bringing with them an exciting look into an extremely revelatory issue for the series. While these leaks are still unofficial and won’t be considered canonical until the chapter is released by Shueisha, spoiler sources for the series have historically been very accurate.

Likewise, fans are excitedly discussing these One Piece chapter 1096 raws as if they are officially canon, and for good reason. Although the God Valley flashback is unfortunately cut short, fans do get a look at the full Rocks Pirates crew (excluding Rocks himself, who is still silhouetted) before this happens.

One Piece chapter 1096 raw scans began with a look at the human hunting tournament, where the slaves and natives of God Valley were seemingly set free to begin the event. Garling Figarland and what appear to be three other Holy Knights get ready to begin the hunt while the citizens and slaves are running from other normal Celestial Dragons.

Meanwhile, at Marine headquarters, Kong is seen contacting Monkey D. Garp, who is currently on vacation. He seems to tell him something about God Island, as Garp is shocked and seemingly enthralled by what Kong says to him here. Perspective briefly shifts to Hachinosu, where some miscellaneous pirates are seen saying something.

One Piece chapter 1096 raw scans then go back to God Valley, where Ivankov is speaking to Kuma and some of the other slaves who’ve yet to be killed. Ivankov seems to warn them of the danger of Celestial Dragons, while Garling is seen slaughtering some of the other slaves. Ivankov then has his chains broken by a Fishman who bites down on them, while Ginny uses Transponder Snails for some reason.

She then discusses what seems to be Kaido’s Mythical Zoan-type Fish Fish Fruit, Model: Azure Dragon, and what eventually became Kuma’s Paramecia-type Paw-Paw Fruit. Ivankov seems psyched up about this, with Kuma then raising his hand and appearing to volunteer to eat one of the two Fruits.

A full page highlighting the crew is then seen, including Captain John, Big Mom, Kaido, Shiki, Whitebeard, Elder Nyon, Buckingham Stussy, and two more members who appear to be Silver Axe and Ochoku.

As Celestial Dragons are yelling at a Marine about the pirate presence, it’s revealed that the Roger Pirates have also appeared. Roger is shown to be beardless and still wearing his Straw Hat at this point, while the rest of the crew looks similar to how other previous flashbacks have portrayed them.

Garling appears to be preparing to fight them when suddenly the Marines see Monkey D. Garp arrive on the island, with his right-hand man Bogard also present. As all of this is going on, it seems Kuma and Ivankov were able to steal the Paw-Paw Fruit and Fish-Fish Fruits, respectively. However, Big Mom arrives immediately after that, taking what would eventually become Kaido’s Fruit from Ivankov.

Kuma quickly eats his as someone reaches for it while Big Mom continues restraining Ivankov. Ivankov seemingly celebrates over at least one of the Fruits being successfully eaten, but Saint Jaygarcia Saturn then appears and attacks Kuma. While Saturn is in his human form here, One Piece chapter 1096 raw scans show black flames and black lighting surrounding him, which look similar to his transformation process on Egghead Island.

Saturn and Kuma discuss something here before an overview of God Valley is given, with the issue then shifting to the Sorbet Kingdom. Ivankov, Kuma, and Ginny are all happily and freely living here, with Kuma’s hands now starting to grow their trademark paws from his Devil Fruit. Ivankov, however, seemingly leaves shortly after that, with just Ginny and Kuma staying behind.

One Piece chapter 1096 raw scans then see the two going about their daily lives, with Kuma and Ginny chopping and selling wood to make a living. Ginny sticks up for Kuma when some children attack him, and he, in turn, removes their pain via his Fruit’s powers. The two are then seen eating together, seemingly enjoying their life together as the issue ends.
