One Piece chapter 1116 is set to be released on June 3, 2024, but the spoilers for the chapter have already been released. The spoilers state that the Lulusia Kingdom was destroyed using an Ancient Weapon, confirming that the leaders of the World Government possess an ancient weapon.

One Piece chapter 1116 was more focused on Vegapunk, revealing that the Roger Pirates uncovered every mystery of the Void Century and didn't reveal anything to the world. Moreover, Rayleigh's displeasure was also showcased in this message from the genius scientist.

With One Piece chapter 1116 now confirming that Imu and the Five Elders possess an Ancient weapon, which one of the three could they have? It could be said that the World Government leaders possess the most mysterious weapon, Uranus, as the whereabouts of the other weapons are already known.

According to One Piece chapter 1116 spoilers, the chapter commenced with more reactions from the world to Vegapunk's message about the war still happening today after 800 years. This had the people of the Grand Line question the scientist as they wanted to know how someone could be alive for more than 800 years and continue the war till today.

The chapter spoilers then saw Imu staring at the portrait of Vivi, which was most probably Nefartari Lili. The chapter then shifted to the Arabasta Kingdom, where people reacted to the missing poster of their princess.

One Piece chapter 1116 spoilers also saw Vegapunk reveal that the Roger Pirates unveiled every mystery of the world and didn't act in any way (which could be wrong, as Roger could have started the Pirate Era so that as many people as possible could learn how to stay above the water that was rising every year). Rayleigh didn't like Vegapunk revealing everything to the world.

But the spoiler's spotlight could be Vegapunk's revelation that a part of the Mother Flame was stolen from him and sent to the World Government. They used it to power an Ancient Weapon and destroy the Lulusia Kingdom. This surprised Vegapunk York, as she didn't know Vegapunk was aware of her stealing the Mother Flame.

The Mother Flame was revealed in chapter 1114 when Saturn visited a containment room to destroy as many Transmission Transponder Snails using the energy source. Earlier in the series, fans saw this energy source in its glory when Imu and the Five Elders used it to destroy the Lulusia Kingdom and declared it an island that never existed.

One Piece chapter 1116 spoilers confirmed that the weapon used by the World Government leaders wasn't the Mother Flame, as it is just an energy source, not an Ancient Weapon. As some fans might remember, the Ancient Weapons are three weapons of mass destruction: Poseidon, Pluton, and Uranus.

Poseidon is Princess Shirahoshi, located on Fisherman Island; Pluton is located in the Wano Kingdom, and Uranus's whereabouts are unknown. The last weapon has no known origins, so Ancient Weapon Uranus could be the one that the World Government leaders possessed and powered using the Mother Flame that Vegapunk York sent them.

With the remaining portion of the Mother Flame still hidden somewhere on the Egghead Island, fans could be wondering what would happen to it, considering how Vegapunk is dead at this point. Well, there could be a chance that the remaining portion of the Mother Flame could be for the Straw Hat Pirates.

But why would Vegapunk let them have such a valuable source of energy? Franky, the shipwright of the Straw Hats, spent the time skip on Karakuri island, the birthplace of Vegapunk. For two years, Franky studied Vegapunk's technology on this island and grasped every concept the scientist had left behind.

So, it is possible that after witnessing the Mother Flame, Franky would know how to manipulate and utilize it. This could lead the Straw Hats towards Pluton, where they could power it and go against the World Government to stop them.

Final thoughts

The World Government possessing the Ancient Weapon Uranus makes sense, considering how each weapon could be associated with a Greco-Roman God. Pluto was the ruler of the underworld, the underground world (earth), and the ancient weapon of the same name is present on Wano (on earth).

Poseidon was the ruler of the seas (water), and the ancient weapon of the same name is located underwater (Princess Shirahoshi). Uranus was the ruler of the heavens and skies, and as fans have already witnessed, the weapon used to destroy the Lulusia Kingdom shoots lasers from the sky, which could indicate that Imu and the Five Elders could possess Uranus.
