One Piece chapter 1118 began with the Iron Giant sinking into the sea, wondering where Joy Boy went and why it couldn’t find him. As this happened, Dr. Vegapunk’s broadcast briefly continued, seeing him say “and their name was” before cutting off again. Reactions to the end of the broadcast were seen from characters in Dressrosa and Alabasta before the focus returned to Egghead, where the Gorosei began targeting Vegapunks Atlas and Lilith.
Meanwhile, Luffy, Dorry, and Brogy were able to jump on the Giant Warrior Pirates’ ship. It was then revealed that Bonney used her Devil Fruit powers to defeat Vice Admirals Doll and Bluegrass, making their escape much easier. Luffy then immediately went down to the kitchen to eat, while Sanji updated Nami on their status. Nami said they’d also set off soon but might need help actually sticking the landing with how many Marine ships were down below.
Saint Mars then arrived in his yokai form, launching a blast at the ship, which three Giants partially blocked, but a section still caught on fire. One Piece chapter 1119 will be titled Emeth. The title of the next chapter is the real name of the Iron Giant who could be the focus of the next chapter, more specifically his performance against one of the Five Elders.
