One Piece chapter 1120 raw scans were expected to bring an end to some of the confusion raised by text-based spoilers released earlier in the week, which they thankfully did. In key points, such as the reveal of Professor Clover’s backstory, the issue did a great job elaborating on unclear points from the earlier spoilers.

However, One Piece chapter 1120 raw scans also excitingly offered a look at the explosive start to the Straw Hats’ escape. While there are still some enemies to fight before Luffy and his crew are fully free and clear of Egghead Island and the Gorosei, chapter 1120 marks both ships having finally set sail from Egghead.

One Piece chapter 1120 raw scans open up with a continued focus on Yamato’s cover story. Here, Denjirou is seen capturing the children who threw rocks at him in the previous cover story entry. He has the children tied up in a net which he has slung over his shoulder. While Denjirou seems fine with the situation, Yamato is seemingly more concerned with the children’s safety than their learning a lesson.

Beginning its story content, the issue opens up with a focus on Punk Hazard from a long time ago. It’s shown to be the lush, green paradise that it was described to once be. Dr. Vegapunk and Professor Clover are seen speaking about something, with Clover then seemingly revealing he’s one of the D. Clan members based on the letter’s use amid the Japanese text.

One Piece chapter 1120 raw scans see Clover seemingly ask something from Dr. Vegapunk after, but he is rejected. The focus then shifts ahead in time to shortly after the Oharan genocide, seeing Dr. Vegapunk discuss it with Caesar Clown before going to Ohara himself. He’s also seen looking at a wanted poster of a young Nico Robin at Ohara. This transitions back to the present, where Dr. Vegapunk’s broadcast continues as Robin is seen crying.

Meanwhile, on the Labo-Phase, Vegapunk Lilith and the others are concerned regarding Gorosei member Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro making his way toward them. At that moment, Vegapunk Atlas appears and attacks Lilith, knocking her unconscious and seemingly doing something to her head. Atlas then says something to the Straw Hats as York is seen telling the Gorosei something with a smug look on her face.

One Piece chapter 1120 raw scans then see Atlas fly at Nusjuro, who slashes her arm off as she approaches. However, she uses her other arm to scoop him up, then activates her jetpack and shoes to fly up into the air with him as the Thousand Sunny launches with the Coup de Burst. The focus then shifts to Egghead’s shores, where Luffy and Emeth are seen having a conversation as various Marines and Giants alike scramble to control the situation.

The Iron Giant is then seen facing off with Gorosei members Saint Shepherd Ju Peter and Saint Topman Warcury. Meanwhile, Luffy speaks with Dorry and Brogy, while Emeth tries to attack Ju Peter but fails. This leads to a chunk of Emeth’s body, as well as his entire left arm, being eaten by Ju Peter.

While Emeth holds Ju Peter back with his other arm, this allows Gorosei member Saint Jaygarcia Saturn to leap off of Ju Peter and onto the Giant Warrior Pirates’ ship. As he sits on the bow, he looks at Bartholomew Kuma and Jewelry Bonney with an evil glare. Sanji then notices that the Thousand Sunny has set off, prompting a shift in focus back to the Labo-Phase.

The Gorosei are then seen speaking as they rush at Emeth, while Usopp and Chopper react to Atlas’ sacrifice. The One Piece chapter 1120 raw scans end with Dr. Vegapunk’s message revealing something else, which is shown to shock various Impel Down prisoners.
