One Piece Chapter 1120 recap
One Piece Chapter 1120 began with a flashback to Professor Clover and Dr. Vegapunk at Punk Hazard 26 years prior. Clover begged Dr. Vegapunk to help with his Void Century research before revealing he’s also a D., but Dr. Vegapunk refused nonetheless. The flashback then jumped ahead four years to the Oharan genocide, where Dr. Vegapunk was seen visiting Ohara, mourning Clover, and asking who’d be foolish enough to finish their work after this.
Returning to the present, Dr. Vegapunk was heard quoting Clover in his broadcast as the focus shifts to the Thousand Sunny. Lilith said they couldn’t launch yet because even a small attack from Nusjuro would stop them from making it to the ocean. Atlas then appeared, knocked out Lilith, turned something on her off, and told the crew to take off. As they launched, she flew at Nusjuro, flying high into the sky with him before exploding herself and blowing off half his face.
Focus then shifted to Egghead’s shores, where Emeth was calling Luffy Joy Boy. He then said he’ll fight to protect him, while Luffy discussed Emeth’s words with the others. This revealed Emeth was speaking to Luffy via the Voice of All Things. As some Gorosei members attacked Emeth, Saturn jumped on the ship and stared down Bonney and Kuma. The issue ended with Emeth teasing some sort of ultimate move to be used in the next issue.
What to expect from One Piece Chapter 1121 (speculative)
One Piece chapter 1121 will be titled The Ebb and Flow of the Ages. As indicated by the title, the next chapter could again see Vegapunk tell the world about the Void Century and reveal one or two more secrets. Moreover, as indicated by the climax of the previous chapter, the next chapter could see the continuation of the battle between the Iron Giant and the Gorosei, and Luffy and Saint Saturn.
Saint Saturn invaded the giants's ship in the previous chapter so Luffy will most definitely do something to send him away. Moreover, the chapter could also see Bonney again transform into her Nika form.
