One Piece chapter 1128 spoilers were expected to see the Straw Hats get some clarity regarding their current situation and location, which was seemingly Elbaf. Released on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 saw the full summary spoilers leaked by reputable series sources, which did indeed offer this clarity fans hoped for.

Additionally, One Piece chapter 1128 spoilers also continued to incorporate more and more Norse mythological references, primarily via some newly introduced and named animals. This culminates in the setup for an incredibly exciting string of issues, which seem set to show the Straw Hats battling an enigmatic figure known only as “the Sun God.”

One Piece chapter 1128 spoilers see Tony Tony Chopper reunite with the East Blue crew

One Piece chapter 1128 spoilers begin with the issue’s title, which is “RPG,” seemingly referencing the abbreviated game genre of the same name (role-playing game). The cover story sees mangaka Eiichiro Oda combine two reader requests, resulting in the Straw Hats wearing wizard costumes and riding brooms in the sky together with a large dragon.

Diving into the issue’s story content, focus is first given to the Bigstein Castle, where Sanji jumps down from the castle while carrying Nami. Luffy, Zoro, and Usopp follow suit, seeing that the entire kingdom is made of LEGO pieces. The huge Yggdrasil tree can be seen in the middle of the kingdom, while Zoro explains how he found Luffy, who is ridiculing Usopp for not being able to beat the cat.

One Piece chapter 1128 spoilers then see Usopp say they’re not in Elbaf, confirmed by the crew encountering a normal sized human wearing a Giant outfit. He’s also seen riding a giant grasshopper, further confirming that this isn’t Elbaf. The man says they’re in the “Land of Gods”, a country ruled by creatures like the Ear God, the Spike God (a hedgehog), and “Iskat,” who is the cat that rules Bigstein Castle.

He touches on the Ear God burning to death, which Luffy tries to apologize for. However, Usopp stops him while the other Straw Hats try to act casual. The man then tells them not to go on the other side of the castle, since that’s the Sun God’s Temple which is guarded by ferocious beasts. This piques Luffy’s interest, prompting him to run straight to the temple with an also curious Zoro in tow.

One Piece chapter 1128 spoilers see Luffy eventually run into something invisible, revealed to be a giant mirror which cracks and breaks. This reveals their entire surroundings to be the result of this mirror’s optical illusion, with cracks appearing in the sky and all around. Luffy falls through the mirror and onto the floor below, revealing the entire LEGO kingdom to be inside a fish-tank like diorama with one-way mirror walls.

Giant furniture can be seen around the room, as well as several LEGO pieces on the floor where Luffy fell. There’s also a massive door on the front part of the cage which could easily fit a Giant. The crew realizes they were being kept as pets in an elaborate cage as they hear someone call out to them for help. This is revealed to be Tony Tony Chopper, being held captive on the wood table until Zoro releases him.

While crying, he thanks the others for saying him as Usopp, Zoro, and Luffy inspect their surroundings. One Piece chapter 1128 spoilers see Sanji add that the kingdom being made of LEGO blocks explains the smell of resin when they cooked the rabbit. They all assume that this room is the Sun God’s Temple, with the Sun God observing the people in the diorama through the one-way mirror walls.

Two new giant animals then appear, being named “Hilmungandr” and “Muginn,” a giant snake and a giant raven, respectively. Hilmungandr’s name is based on the World Serpent Jörmungandr from Norse mythology, while Muginn references Odin’s ravens Muninn and Huginn in Norse mythology. It’s name is a portmanteau of the two mythological beasts’ names. Muginn also wears a skull on its head. Luffy and the others begin fighting the two beasts.

One Piece chapter 1128 spoilers shift to the hallway outside, the Sun God can be seen walking towards the room, which is marked with a “Z” symbol. The Sun God is seemingly a Giant far larger than what readers have seen so far, aside from Oars. However, the Sun God’s true identity can’t be discerned, as they’re wearing a long black tunic and a deer skull with large antlers and a mane which covers their face.

The Sun God also has a staff and a shield, each adorned with a “Sun symbol” per spoilers. They burst into the room after noticing smoke and noise coming from it, seeing a Gear 5 Luffy laughing in the middle of a fire which is burning the room. He then defeats Hilmungandr with a Gum-Gum Dawn Pistol while Zoro defeats Muginn. The Straw Hats then jump into the diorama to evade the Sun God, once again encountering Iskat.

One Piece chapter 1128 spoilers see them quickly deal with Iskat before mounting it, while Nami shows the others a map she found. The map details the layout of the land of blocks, with Nami telling the others to get ready to run straight ahead through the other wall of the diorama. She says they’ll be “outside” after doing so, but it’s unclear if she means back in the Sun God’s Temple or actually outside of whatever building the Temple is in.

As this discussion plays out, the Straw Hats are seen riding through the diorama town as an enraged Sun God chases them. The townspeople are shocked to see the Sun God, commenting on how he’s furious as he tells Luffy and co that they won’t get away. Spoilers end by confirming that there is no break for the series following chapter 1128’s official release on Monday, October 7, 2024 at 12AM Japanese Standard Time.
