The One Piece chapter 1129 raw scans were expected to clarify some of the murkier aspects of previously released text-based spoilers for the upcoming issue. Leaked on Thursday, October 10, 2024, the raw scans did indeed fulfill this role, with one of the most notable examples being elaborating on Luffy’s use of Gear 4 in the issue.

The One Piece chapter 1129 raw scans also excitingly confirmed the Sun God as Road, a member of the New Giant Warrior Pirates whom fans had previously seen. Nevertheless, it was nice to see the raw scans clearly confirm the Sun God’s true identity, done via a flashback that showed Road in his typical, non-Sun God outfit.

The One Piece chapter 1129 raw scans began with a focus on the issue’s cover story, which saw Yamato watch Otama training with Shinobu to become a kunoichi. Both had new outfits on, with Shinobu having regained the weight she previously lost. Yamato was watching from Komachiyo’s back nearby, clearly cheering Otama on.

Beginning the issue’s story content, the focus was first given to the Sun God and the various citizens of the LEGO kingdom. A panel showing the room now fully ablaze also appeared on this first page. The focus then shifted to the Straw Hat crew, who were riding Iskat and jumping over the LEGO kingdom’s buildings as they did so.

The One Piece chapter 1129 raw scans then saw Nami explain the layout of the room they were in, as well as the diorama cage specifically. This likewise revealed that they were already halfway to the other end of the cage. The Sun God then tried using his staff like a net to catch the crew, but Sanji and Zoro immediately broke it with attacks.

The Sun God then noticed a giant charred skeleton, which was revealed to be the Ear God that Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji roasted and ate. The Sun God yelled something out to the straw Hats here while the citizens continued panicking. However, the crew had finally reached the other end of the cage by this point, with Usopp sniping a hole in the mirror and revealing a brick wall.

The One Piece chapter 1129 raw scans saw Luffy activate Gear 4 in just his left arm only while the Sun God ranted about something. This seemingly upset Nami and Sanji, leading to a flashback showing Muginn bringing the Thousand Sunny to the Sun God. This also revealed him to be Road, the navigator of Hajrudin’s New Giant Warrior Pirates, which are a part of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet.

Road seemingly remembered Hajrudin deciding to join the Grand Fleet and seemed upset about it. As the Straw Hats began to wake up, he knocked them out with sleeping gas again before a panel teasing his evil plans appeared. This prompted a return to the present, where Nami and Zeus launched a massive attack on the unsuspecting Sun God.

The One Piece chapter 1129 raw scans then showed Luffy attacking the wall as all of the Straw Hats eagerly awaited their freedom. Luffy successfully burst through the wall with the attack, smiling as he stuck his head outside and observed their surroundings in the final panel. Unfortunately, fans didn’t get to see this view before the issue ended, saving the reveal for next week.
